![]() In book 4, Dan and Amy discover that Napoleon, Thomas Edison, and Marie Curie are connected with their unique and, seemingly, powerful family. ![]() Each previous book in the series has introduced many historically famous people. The circumstance that led them to their first meeting ended up being a really funny and cute story later in the book, but when it was happening I could tell it was going to go one of two ways. Jae was able to continue to insert random jokes or things while Austen had no idea what was actually going on. Austen’s opening scenes with her (no spoilers) were so funny. Under a Falling Star was an ice queen book, since Dee was considered to be the worst person to work under. I had a feeling of what was coming but things kept coming up to change the narrative a bit. Under A Falling Star had me smiling throughout while also trying to figure out how it was going to end. I’ve surprisingly only read one other title by Jae ( The Roommate Arrangement) – which was also insanely cute. I went into this expecting a really cute Christmasy book and I got that and so much more.
